Truck Driver

Full-timeAccra, Ghana

We are hiring reliable truck drivers to deliver clean water to homes and businesses across Accra. You will be the face of Clearwater to our customers — punctual, professional, and committed to quality service. We offer stable income, consistent routes, and a team that has your back.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up water from verified filling stations and deliver to customer locations
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
  • Maintain your vehicle in safe, clean working condition
  • Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
  • Accurately record deliveries and report any issues
  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Valid Ghana driver's license (Class C or above)
  • Experience driving water tankers or heavy trucks preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Accra roads and neighborhoods
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
  • Fluency in English or Twi required

Field Service Representative

Full-Time · Mon–SatGreater Accra · Field-Based

The Field Service Representative plays a vital role within Clearwater's operations team — supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of treated water to customers across Accra. Working alongside the Tanker Driver, you'll cover everything from metering supervision and treated water handling through to on-site customer liaison and adherence to internal compliance procedures. The Field Service Representative is an ambassador for Clearwater on every customer visit, upholding the company's values and service standards at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the safe connection and disconnection of hoses, valves, and the loading and offloading of treated water at approved Clearwater filling stations
  • Supervise the tanker metering system on the Clearwater driver app — record readings accurately at each customer site and flag irregularities
  • Serve as Clearwater's on-site representative — engage with customers professionally, resolve minor disputes where appropriate, and escalate to the Transport/Operations Supervisor when needed
  • Adhere to internal compliance procedures and the scheduled tanker cleaning programme — morning, between-load, and weekly deep cleans (including chlorine sterilization)
  • Complete delivery notes, metering records, cleaning logs, and compliance documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies, including PPE, manual handling, and pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
  • On non-truck days, help operations onboard waitlist customers onto the app

Qualifications

  • SHS completed — we care more about who you are and how you work than what you studied
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly for metering, documentation, and compliance
  • Comfortable with a smartphone and willing to learn the Clearwater driver app
  • Field-fit and safety-minded — able to work reliably in a field-based, outdoor environment, fit for manual handling
  • Reliable and honest — trustworthy with a company phone, uniform, and customer relationship
  • Based in Greater Accra and able to commute reliably to your assigned starting point each morning

Filling Station Owner (Partner)

We are looking for filling station owners to partner with Clearwater as verified water supply points. As a Clearwater depot partner, you will receive consistent, scheduled pickups from our driver network — giving you predictable volume and reliable revenue. We handle demand generation and logistics so you can focus on supply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clean, quality-verified water to Clearwater drivers on a scheduled basis
  • Maintain water quality and hygiene standards at your station
  • Coordinate with Clearwater on fill schedules and capacity planning
  • Ensure timely availability of water during agreed operating hours
  • Report any supply disruptions or quality concerns promptly

Qualifications

  • Own or operate a functioning water filling station in Greater Accra
  • Consistent water supply capacity to support scheduled pickups

Water Filtration Engineer & Inventor

Part-time · ~20 hrs/weekAccra, Ghana · Hybrid

Help us design and build commercial-grade water filtration systems from scratch — then make them better than anything on the market. Work alongside the CEO to research, source, assemble, and test filtration infrastructure. This role is for builders and inventors studying engineering, chemistry, or water science who want flexible, part-time work with real-world impact.

Responsibilities

  • Research and reverse-engineer commercial filtration systems to understand cost and markup
  • Source components locally and internationally, then design and assemble complete filtration units
  • Test systems rigorously against WHO/GWCL standards and iterate on quality
  • Document every build with bill of materials, assembly steps, and test results
  • Prototype alternative approaches to reduce cost, energy, or complexity
  • Experiment with low-cost sensor integration for real-time water quality monitoring
  • Collaborate with the CEO on long-term R&D direction for proprietary water treatment technology

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled student (undergrad, masters, or PhD) in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering, chemistry, or water science
  • Builder mentality — you've made things with your hands
  • Foundation in water treatment principles (coagulation, filtration, disinfection, membrane processes)
  • Inventor's curiosity — you ask "why is it done this way?" and try a different way
  • Rigorous documentation habits
  • Based in Greater Accra
